Other vintages
A vintage of Château Canon is the expression both of the terroir, its typicity but also of the year and its meteorological characteristics: rainfall, sunshine, rigor of winter, heat wave (2003). Each of the vintages will therefore retain an air of family from the vinification mode (the claw of the winemaker), to the terroir, to the grape varieties but will be different according to the characteristics of the year that saw him born. A bit like children who look alike because they all come from the same parents, each vintage has its own character.
As a general rule, Château Canon wines are structured and complex wines, rich in sensations, aging thanks to their structure but which can be young buses due to their high proportion of Merlot which gives its fruit aromas to the wine from her youth.

A fresh, pure style, with lots of floral and black tea notes out front, followed by a tightly focused beam of red currant, plum and raspberry coulis flavors. The finish sports a mouthwatering chalky spine and lovely perfume that should develop more with time. For fans of minerality. Best from 2022 through 2032. 6,665 cases made.

Barrel Sample. This wine is bright and fresh, showing only the lightest of tannins and crisp, zingy acidity. Red currants cut right through the palate giving it levity and suggesting that the wine will develop quickly.
