Aromas of earth, red flowers and warm baking spice cover the red-cherry fruit on the nose. The palate is full in feel, with a blanket of anise and allspice surrounding the rich red-fruit core.

Medium-deep ruby. Musky red currant, tobacco and graphite on the moderately ripe nose. Juicy but tightly wound in the mouth, where firm tannins and high acidity give an edgy quality to the flavors of strawberry and herbs. This is a not especially fleshy wine that closes medium-long but clean.
