Scarlet red color, nose of cassis and French oak - even before the first taste, an intense, rich, ripe, intriguing wine captures the imagination. The palate follows through with seamless and complex harmony - full, rich, exciting and ever-ruminating. A momentary evolution in the glass with fine and abundant tannins balanced by fruit-driven character. Soft and slightly gritty. Ripe yet structured. Expansive and long in finish. Personally, I am excited that Mother Nature can produce a product like this wine.
