This classic Carneros region Pinot Noir offers a wide range of flavors and aromas thanks to its "clonal diversity." The individual clones from several different vineyard lots are vinified separetely and then carefully selected and blended, each retaining its unique clonal signature. The result is a complex wine with a rich bouquet of red cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and hints of floral notes and baking spices. It is bursting with juicy flavors of strawberry and cranberry, wrapped in a silky and elegant texture, and ending with a long, flavorful finish. This wine pairs nicely with lamb, duck, and grilled fish and will improve with additional cellaring for 2 to 5 years.

Loving the complex, savory aromas of-don't laugh-celery, carrots, black tea and raspberries in this medium-bodied, layered wine. A rather light mouthfeel is nicely lifted by light tannins and some good, tangy acidity.

The medium red 2022 Pinot Noir Carneros is forward in the glass with notes of dusty earth, cedar, baked red cherries, and cola. Juicy and midweight, it has a generous, rounded feel and a light, tasty finish lasting on the back palate. It has a good deal of youthful appeal. 4412 cases were produced.
